When you are too tired of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo..

During your vacation in Tokyo, you'll probably go to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno, and Ginza ... but you'll be surprised just how busy they can be. If you are too tired of the busy areas of Tokyo and want to have a relaxed cup of tea or coffee, I recommend going to Nakameguro.

Nakameguro is not too far from the centre of Tokyo. It takes 5 minutes by Train (Tokyu-Toyoko line) from Shibuya. Meguro river runs along the street and is perfect for having a walk or having a nice coffee and something to eat.

If you are interested in fashion, this street is perfect for little clothes shops. Do you like old artistic books? You should visit COWBOOKS. There are so many unique and interesting shops, you could get lost there for hours. Near the street you can enjoy ramen at AFURI and relax with good coffee and cake at Huit.

Along the river there are many cherry blossom trees that bloom in spring. It is perfect to visit and enjoy the flowers, while sipping back a cold beer or a crisp glass of wine.

Even if it is not Spring, the street is always full of beautiful sunlight and has a peaceful atmosphere.

Maternity Photo Shoot in Tokyo / マタニティフォト撮影

It was the best sunny day of the week in March. We could feel the atmosphere of the spring. 

We enjoyed walking around Hibiya Park and Marunouchi area and they told me that during their trip they liked Japan a lot!

It was a Maternity photo shoot,  I'm very happy because they will be able to say their child "You were in Japan" when they look at the old photos together, it would be lovely!!

お天気もよく春の雰囲気も感じられる三月の撮影でした。

この撮影の数ヵ月後、無事に赤ちゃんが産まれたようで、大きくなってからこの写真を見せて

「あなたは日本に行ったのよ」と話せるときが来るのかな、と思うとなんとも嬉しい気分になります。

Tokyo, summer, 7 pm

New artist's book "LOST" created with Maya Ohashi(Book artist) to be exhibited at Street Road Artist Space (Philadelphia, US "Arterial Motives" May 31-Oct 31). We focused on "Subway" in Tokyo.

トーキョーの地下鉄にフォーカスしたこのArtist Photo Book。
「メタルギアか・・？」と思わせる風景多数。
自分一人では決してできなかったであろうカッコいい作品となりました。
アメリカ・フィラデルフィアのギャラリーに、今月31日から展示されます。
